4.75" Squid Skirt Daisy chain fully rigged and ready to fish with 5/0 long shank high carbon steel saltwater hooks or with 6/0 Mustad Bronze hooks. Some of the Purple and Green colors have the Mustad and they also have a 2nd rolling swivel connection at the 3rd bait.
About 5.5 to 6 feet total length
Each full rig has 3 squids with 1/4 ounce weights in head and no hook, these are the teaser baits to mimic a school of bait, these are placed 16" apart.
The 4th squid is the "Stinger Squid" which has the hook and is double the weight which keeps it deeper in the water and is 24-26" behind the school, THIS is the bait that will get hit 98% of the time. If fish strike the front baits they will miss as there is no hook and then as the restart the chase they will attack the "stinger squid" from behind.
Best trolled ON THE OUTSIDE CORNERS at speeds as slow as 2.5 knots up to 8 knots on calm days. You want to troll these right behind the 3rd or 4th wake and find the right speed for surface conditions where you can keep the front couple squids jumping out of the water and back in on the surface constantly, but while keeping the 4th squid just subsurface. The "jumping" front baits mimic a bait school fleeing from a predator fish and makes lots of splashes and air bubble trails which attracts A LOT of fish. Pelagic and predatory fish cannot resist to checkout what the action is about and when close this rig triggers a "Reaction Bite" on even the most stubborn of fish.
